So I've had ableton and used it for dj'ing and for fixing offbeat stuff with time warping and whatnot, but I decided to try it out for actual composing, and god damn. I ing like it. Threw this together over the last 10 hours working off and on, and yeah. I love this program already. Any comments would be appreciated, thanks :)

I like it has a kinda old sound(i think that is what you were going for?). I think the kick needs to be changed, and when the lead was panned right and left it kinda hurt my ears but i think that is my crappy headphones fault.

Hah yeah the old sound was intentional, and I'd been working on ty speakers that were literally side by side so i never noticed the panning, thats been changed, might update the OP yet tonight with a new version. Cheers :)

I like this. Has kind of an "old school" sound like the guy said above. That's a good thing, since I love older trance.

Critique: It seems like the frequency spectrum is kind of unbalanced; maybe you're a little light on the bass and kick?

I just had to say one more thing. The song has a perfect amount of repetitiveness it keeps adding things and subtracting elements at the perfect times. That is something i am yet to master. it seems i always end up adding things to fast. and then when i add them slower it is to slow.
