Dave Schiemann is a name that has really come to peoples attention over the last few months of 2007. At only 18, he is the latest talent to come out of Poland and take tech trance by storm! Already he boasts an EP on Ali Wilson’s Tekelec plus a further two productions on Detox, which were played by everyone from Tiesto to Sander Van Doorn.
Crackdown is Dave’s latest offering and we think his best to date. It’s down right dark and dirty style works so well on the floor as he cleverly uses a sinister side chained vocal against a rattling percussion background giving it bags of energy. He couples all this with an eerie and certainly non conventional riff making it the perfect track for getting some atmosphere going at any venue.
Taking the tough job on of remixing this monster, Digital Remedy once again recruit the talents of Michael Dow who has himself recently had some amazing productions out on the label, namely Sector 7 which was the best selling track on the label so far and not forgetting his remix of Haslam & Mearns – Zippa for the birthday EP. Michael supplies a cracking interpretation taking the original down a more progressive route, confirming his status as one of THE rising stars in trance!

Dave Schiemann - Crackdown [Digital Remedy]
Strong tech release from Polish newcomer
Real name Dawid Schiemann, this Polish lad is a wet-behind-the-ears 19 years old, but is already showing some considerable promise. The original mix of 'Crackdown' is rumbling, tough and techy, but still manages to be musical, with tons of power and energy. Michael Dow is on remix duties with a less hardcore, more electro cut.
