I was underwhelmed. :( I mean, is everyone saying the show was so awesome because Underworld is rare, or because Underworld is good? Don't get me wrong, I thought it was ok, but the best of Underworld is definitely Cowgirl and Born Slippy.
I probably wouldn't even mention the mediocrity, if it weren't for the fact that I spent $65 on the ticket. |

| Sounds like most of you thought it was amazing. I ended up not being able to go because I'm saving up for a trip in a couple weeks. So did they mostly play their own stuff? |

Underworld is more a concert act than Tiesto in Concert. Three guys, two manning the loops and mixing and the other does the vocals and support instruments. |

this comment right here proves to me you know absolutely nothing about underworld and who they are, or for that matter what type of show they put on.

you are the only person on all the forums i read that said they had a bad time. that sucks because everyone else was having a freaking ball. |

| i thought it was an incredible show, very memorable. when born slippy came out it was surreal |

| the whole show was something to not be forgotten at all! i have some videos i need to post up tonight but during king of snake i walked up to see some of my friend sitting in the seats and it was unreal looking down on to the crowd with that yellowish/orange light they had on. it gives me tingles just thinking about it! |

I thought they played Born Slippy a little too early but still it was amazing. :) |

There's no reason to get such an attitude. I do know some of their stuff for your information, just didn't know what kind of a show they put on. I guess even though I'm a big fan of Paul van Dyk, I wouldn't want a whole show of just his productions. Really though, couldn't you have just explained to me what kind of show they do, like Scott, instead of being hostile? |

now i didn't say that. so don't put words in my mouth. it just irritates me when i posted all the information you can find on them and yet you make a stupid remark of "did they play they own stuff?" of course they played their own stuff. they are just like any other live band you can find. pvd doesn't play all is own but underworld does.
sorry to come off as being bitchy hostile or having an attitude but i put all the information there for you to read up on but alas you would rather hear pvd sellout and have the cat dolls sing with him. |

I guess I should have read the info you posted more thoroughly. I just never considered them a "band." I know ASOT was being sarcastic, but honestly, I've asked a few of my friends who are very in to this type of music and everyone I asked knew nothing about Underworld. These aren't people who only listen to Tiesto either. Underworld just isn't my cup of tea and I don't believe that means I have bad taste in music.
By the way, do you listen to anything else? I'm not sure I've ever seen you post about any other show. I'm not trying to sound bad, just curious. |
