SSS or NEC (pg. 2)

K this is the deal...
i was talking to sapd and he told me about SSS more or less waht it was....
so now my debate it... which one do i goo too..... next year..
2003 SSS or 2003 April NEC....
cuz i can only go to one.. and i dont konw which one.. now..
if i go to nec.. i'll be able to go for about 4 days ...maybe... 5... but realy unlikely...
with SSS i might be able to go for 1 week.. to about 2 weeks...
so i wnated to find out wich one is better.. and which one is more worth going toooo..

| Just to confuse things, couldnt you go to Global Gathering next year too becoz imo this year they have the best line of any event ive seen, and this could be the case again next year :D |

I don't understand how we can recommend any of those two for next year? :conf: :conf:
The best thing you can do is wait till next year for line-ups :) I mean..the NEC line-up, cuz SSS has the same djs every year :p |

good point.. but see.. i have to organize my self.. cuz i amm coming too UK next year.. one way or another.. but i have to figuer out.. everything.. soo i'm just sorta starting some where.. sorrryy... :( |

Well Ste on that World TA meetup, it was just an idea me and Jon thought of for next years GCSSS, I don't think much will come of it, maybe a handful of overseas TAs, but we remember in the chatroom everyone says they want to be in the UK in 2003, or say you make a comment about the UK, everyone says I will be there next year, could be a good chance to actually meet some of these people, and just make them come over here, I know its not fair sounding as in other people doing the travelling, but SSS usually has a good lineup and atmosphere.
Julie GCSSS is longer, I prefered it more then the NEC, but the NEC was still mint, its a tough one. |

I think I'm choosing SSS too next year, mainly because it's new (to me), it's bigger, it's longer and it's sunnier!!! :)
I'll be returning from Africa around half January..so I'll save some extra cash then and will hopefully be able to go to SSS, then a nice hot summerholidaylocation (Lanzarote? Venezuela?) and then Toronto and New York in the Fall :)
Or maybe Toronto eand New York in Spring, cuz I think my Internship starts in September so that means I'm hopefully moving to the UNITED KINGDOM then!!!! :)

SSS every time :)
if i were you julie i would even contemplate choosing NEC over SSS if u can only do one... for a start SSS is twice as long as NEC for only 15 quid more...
plus theres faaaar more choice of DJ's... and what daveC said about the DnB... they are usually tucked away in their own little corner where no-one goes :p |
