Where do you store your millions of CDS in an ORGANIZED WAY!?!?!?!?

I am just wondering because everyone here provable has hundreds and hundreds of albums and cds lying around in the house and most don't have a system to store then and avoid misplaces and delaying while looking something up.
As my collection grows I am having some trouble. Help! |

In my room I have a tower of cds like 70 cds high, without that plastic thing, just a stack of cds chillin on my stereo. In computer room I just have a couple of those cd holder things, then i stack them horizontally along a shelf.
Some DJs must have some crazy cd and vinyl storage though.
I would have more cd's but, I have a 4x4x32 burner :( :( :( |

| i took my bookshelf area and lowered one of the beams. so it's just a bit higher then a cd and store them in there by artist and label [for hooj ,bedrock GU ect..] |

| I have a whole wall with shelves just built for CDs. It has room for over 3000 CDs.. My vinyls are at my friends place, because he has much bigger apartment than i have. |

I keep mine in one of those flap things that holds 72 cds. Unfortunately its always been fill ever since I bought it so I think its time to get another.
I keep most of my CD-Rs in a strange plastic thing that works a bit like my address book. You write on the outside what CDs are where and move the Cd to it when you want it and open the lid and your Cd is there!!!!!!
Unfortunately I find even that's a bit too much work and I don't listen to my Cd-Rs very much anymore...:( |

| I brought a flat-pack cd holder from argos which holds 135 cds. But I need a lot more space now:( |

Yea i store them but.. organize them? Are you crazy?
Basically I buy the cd, save the booklet and all... and I give away the plastic case to people who broke theirs. I store the CD's in one of those 200 cd notebook thingies. |

I store mine in medium boxes labeled by year and genre...I also keep a track book with tracklistings, year downloaded, etc. etc....not...I just pile them on my technics sounds system! I hardly ever get to listen to them all...it's plain and simple....just pile right on!

| It's easy... you rip them all as mp3's on your hard drive and you sell the cd's on ebay. |
