Ughh, I so wish I had gone to this! I remember at the end of Tenaglia @ Boa, Nathalie came up to me and offered me a ticket and a ride, but I refused. There was no way I was leaving that place until he lights went on with the near religious experience I had haha. It closed half an hour later. I think my brain would have gone into overload though had I gone haha. Too much party goodness in 1 day.

I and the weather was sooo perfect, and my beer was sooooo tasty, and the beats were sooooo awesome....

Tell me about it re: the beer! (well, the weather WAS so perfect too... a better day could not have been had)

I was drinking Molson Export the whole cruise, save for 1 or 2 Coronas I had on the top deck, and damn I swear those were some of the best tasting Exports I've still to this day ever had in my life ;)

I had the best trance moment on that cruise too. I was so happy from meeting so many new peeps, and the weather was sooo perfect, and my beer was sooooo tasty, and the beats were sooooo awesome....

Then I look up and everything's blissful, and I see a flock of birds flying overhead just as the breakdown drops, lmfao. Total hands in the air trance moment!!

No...really??!?? Are you sure? You see I've been living in a sound proof box for the last 4 years listening solely to Armin's mix of Major League - Wonder Where You Are... hehehe... Now that's sarcasm! (in Homer's voice).

All jokes aside, yes I do know that his style is different compared to then. But think about it now, would someone of AVB's ilk and talent not be palyin tunes to suit the atmosphere... I mean I kinda thought that's one of the defining characteristics of tehe top echelon of DJ's after all.

Cheers!

lol heh. I'm a master at sarcasm too ;)

Of course Armin is technically sound and he knows how to read the crowd.

But the thing is, the crowd Armin attracted back in those days is different than Armin fans nowadays. Plus the music has changed so much.

So when people go see Armin, no matter where he is playing, you'd probably hear certain types of tunes (teh ghey vocal pop trance, whatever)

Sure, Armin will drop few old school tunes now and then, but I've also seen people lose their vibe when Armin started to play really hard and tech trance ish stuff. (And I was going nuts when he was playing anal pounding ) And then people went back to being crazy when the Anthem got played (YEEEEECH)

So, it'd take a lot for me to go see Armin again, because I know approximately what stuff he'll play, because his fans have spoken.
