Holy , so im listing to some DUmonde Set from 2002 and i guess they play one of ther ayumi hamasaki remixes. HORRIBLE vocals like what the hell were they thinking keeping them in the track. I like the melody in the track but ULTRA High pitched japanese vocals just molest the track. Just when you think the vocals cant get anymore high pitched the bitch takes it up a notch....make me want to eat nails. reminds me of a VERY bad anime movie.
I think if i ever heard those vocals on a massive sound system i would probably break down in a seizure or punch the dj in the mouth

Ever thought about that they had to make the vocals inside?
As I know the ayumi hamasaki porducers want at least one remix with vocals (otherwise there is really nothing left from the original song). So as I know nearly every remixer made at least 2 remixes, one with vocals and one dub mix without or much less vocals.
And what you should not forget, the remixes are for the japanise marked and maybe there they like these pitched vocals!? |

hahahaha, that cracked me up....
But yeah, have you heard "Dumonde Dub" - it was amazing, I loved it.
I think that a vocal and a dub is the ideal way to go, or there is no point remixing the song.. you have to think of both markets, the vocal and the non vocal... |

I was thinking, why did ferry do such a thing? Gave me nightmares. I wonder if he sang the vocals himself, hehe, I wouldn't be surprised if he did. |

I quite like the vocals in 'Ayumi Hamaskai - Trauma (Dumonde)', they're different (and do remind me of managa movies :D)
But then I guess everyone has different tastes :) |

| hahah "Soul on soul" was AWFUL. Who sang it wasnt it Marc Almond or somthing. The song was soooo gay my wrists went limp just listing to it |

I only like the vocals in Trauma as it heads into the buildup (both buildups)
I must agree that 'Soul on Soul' and 'Who do you love now?' have pretty atrocious vocals.
The vocals on the video edit of Airwave are pretty nice, shame that they haven't been explored for more than the edit. |
