| Dawn I don't understand how you áren't signed to a label. You are friggin' amazing. I love your style. You are my favorite DJ at the moment by far (I am also into Marco V a lot). Anyway, I was just wondering if any record companies have checked your stuff out or if you submitted anything to them. If not, as I am sure you know, you should. Your mixes never cease to amaze me. This month was great. I love how you don't always play the huge hits cause I get tired of hearing them over and over. I love your sets and look forward to hearing the hits and some new bangin' hard trance. I am gonna go to Germany next summer to see you live. |

my stuff has never been checked out by a label cause I don't think there is even the slightest chance that they want me. I had this dicussion in the last three month's threads, and still think that you need a big name in order to get signed for a compilation, and not good skills and taste. People buy brands here, and there are hundreds of samplers with DJ mixes in germany already. So I never bothered to send in my stuff (also cause I believe that they won't even listen to a CD if you send it if they don't know you).
But maybe I should listen to what someone said last month :"a NO is what you have, a YES is what you can get."
argh, dammit! Maybe I'm just afraid to get that NO......

but because you produce them so damn often with such consistency.

It was ME ;) (and i was quoting my mom :D) ...
if you get that NO, it, they don't deserve you. On to the next one. There are plenty of labels out there ...
And when you get succesful, send a copy of the disc back to the ones that 'rejected' you :D :cool: :p :rolleyes: :disbelief :haha: :tongue2 |

Yeah Cyrax, right.
I don't know why DJ Dawn has no desire to take a try and send Demo-CD's to some big (or even small) labels here in Germany. I was the one who copied the last 5 mixes on CD's and I gave it the boss of a very big disco here in northern Germany... I did that.. because Dawn has no ambitions to do that... crazy man!!! :D
Dawn... please try it out... I think everyone here will support you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I WILL DO SO, MY FRIEND!
