Have u ever wondered how all those renaissance artists-philosophers and scientists invented their great discoveries?
Lets take Einstein, was he on crack when he came up with E=mc^2?

that guy that drew all those really freaky drawings of like endless squares and optical illusions and stuff .. Escher I think his name was...
he was on pretty much every drug imaginable when he came up with that .. freaky...
not exactly a genius, but just my $0.02 |

no.. no he wasn't, freebase wasn't introduced till much, much, much later. he was pure genius, man.

| this is just a stereotype...sum d00d doing all kinds of drugs and being a total genius at the same time...most of the geniuses didn't use drugs...they worked pretty hard at the stuff they did..altho a few did drugs, i must admit |

| lol @ guiness and crack. ummmmmmm nope. I know Einstein didn't take anything, it was pure insight. How cool is that? I know some poets/philosopher's took some, opium etc, I forget who exactly but it does happen. |

ehhhm....Since i had to do lots of researches about Salvador Dalí (the greatest surrealist painter of all time) i can say the he, as opposed to common thought, did NOT take any drugs or at least said that he didnt (" i dont take drugs, i AM a drug"; "the only difference between me and a madman is that im not mad"..)
As for Eintstein Im pretty sure he was "clean" as well. Same goes for Stephen Hawking, i assume :)
Nostradamus the great prophet did take some drugs....oh and ive recently read the the Romans (the elite: intellectuals, politicinas,..) did take lots of Opium. Incas Mayas etc. presuambly did lots Shrooms and Peyotes..
I guess the great componists..mozart beethoven etc. didnt take anything either, nor did painters like van gogh( who however was quite schizophrenic and cut off his own ear..)
