I suppose people have different tastes in Trance music. Just like in the bigger picture of music genres. For example: Rock vs. Rap. or 80's vs. 90's.

just kind of reminds me of the argument during the renaissance...
you didnt see people alive then saying art was better 10 years earlier.. you cant really look at it til the whole thing has blown over...
and even then.. its pretty subjective.. When it comes to opinion everyone's right :(

Yea, you did. When I first started clubbing 9-10 years ago I remember talking to veterans of the clubs who would often claim it was nothing like when they started 10 years ago.

true... but thats usually a typical opinion of many veterens in all categories. i played hockey very competitive my whole life and i'd often run into people that said the game wasnt as good just because it changed from what it used to be when they were in their prime...
especially when dealing with music, you never know if next week a track will drop that will redefine the genre like carte or xpander did.
