who knows of what tracks out there were made stricly on ableton or other music making programs....cubase reason FL....im just curious as to what popular tracks out there wee made simply using a computer

Almost every track produced in the last 5 years (at least) has been made on a computer.

I think 100% software is not impossible these days due to the advances made with VST's and other great DAW applications. I do know a few people who do use all software, but at the absolute least, producers still use a midi keyboard as an input service.

For many producers, this is all they need and the rest is all software based.

Was going to say the same. They'll use software to sketch out the tunes, but the final product is most likely going to involve hardware, with the pros going to a studio to really polish the sound off.

Mistral was also done in 02 IIRC... Producing back in those days is a bit different than today. (and you can kinda tell that quality wise the tune sounds aged, compared to stuff released today)

Considering all he did was sample the lyrics and lay them over the most generic 4/4 beat you can imagine, I wouldn't be ing surprised.
