i'll post an update later, i'm at work right now..
mikey- you :gsmile: i appreciate your honesty however i hope that you never have to deal with something like this and if you do i hope that you will be able to handle it as well as i did. I aired my dirty laundry on the internet because i was in alot of shock and i wanted to talk about it with people that wouldn't freak out and call eli. maybe i was also looking for some attention or re-assurance as it is a bit mind blowing to have your husband/ father of your child tell you he is no longer in love with you and he's cheated on you and he wants a divorce, with that comes a huge sense of rejection. |

omg, this is what people were talking about in that other thread. I'm so sorry to hear that. Not sure what advice I can give other than whatever doesn't kill you will make you stronger (yeah that's totally cliche and probably doesn't give you any consolation now but it will eventually).
I've been burned for trusting people more than my fair share but I always have hope that someone will come along who will trust me as much as I trust her.
So I live by the rules:
Dance as if no one is watching...
Sing as if no one is listening...
and love as if you'll never get hurt.
You and your child will be just fine! :)

Do you not think it's a bit moronic to put something as hard hitting and painful as this in your life up for grabs to some of the most immature, callous and uncaring (not necessarily all 3 in one go) people on the internet? Easy pickings.
The sympathy and 'fail pictures' from all the people you've never met probably helped a bundle though.

While this may be true, there are also a lot of people who do care on this board, and people I would consider good friends. Dunno if she feels the same, but thats certainly my perspective. I would expect certain things like fail pics, etc... if I posted this kind of thing, but the understanding of a few key individuals would make those jabs irrelevant. |
