Breaking a dry-streak

yeah so i'm in the middle of the world's longest dry-streak.
Would you lower your standards just to get back into the game, or stay true to your (admittedly exacting) standards and know you'll eventually come out the other side?
I'm not talking about bagging a fatty (I do have some pride), but maybe not the normally high standards I usually look for in a female.
I've always promised myself I'd never go as low to asking relationship advice on the internet, but this doesn't count. |

Trust me, its not for a complete lack of getting out n about.
