i love the patterns it makes because there is unlimited amounts of it, but i hate how it hits u in the eyes all the time. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i liked how they had the "old" laser above the crowd tearing up and hte only time u might get it in the eye is when it would spread out across the club and go in circles (which i love when it does that)

all i can say is its about freakin time...
like this has been around and used in clubs around the world for so long, sorry not like this, way better than this but im glad guv is finaly on board, and i hear JQ is tearing up the lighting booth, good job buddy.
one thing tho, it hit me in the eye a couple times and it was very irritating lol

I don't think there is a way to avoid hitting patrons in the eye with this unit. To make the pretty pictures, you need to move your beam through the vertical. If the lower limit of the lasers' travel was set to avoid hitting the crowd, or if the lasers heads were mounted lower down to shoot upwards, you wouldn't get the same effect.
For a show like that, it's a reasonable sacrifice IMO.

Definately, there was a TA here who did work for a laser company or special effects, and said the multicolour laser (the one they added right after the grand re-opening) they added in right before the one now costs about $100,000.
