Winamp cuts off all the mp3s a few seconds before they're completely finished (it stops at 4:00 for a 4:05 song, etc). How do I stop this?

sorry to ask, but how do I turn it off? I can't find the crossfader in preferences.

yeah, its usually not there in most skins.

in your skin look to the left of the equalizer - there should be a small horizontal slider bar there with a number anywhere from 1-20, you want to click on it so it dims, or set the number to 0.

the number is an indicator of how many seconds to crossfade the tracks

I don't think my skin has that :(

haha yeah. it has been a long time since people even knew what the premise behind that is.

Have a look in the preferences at the output plug-ins for something like this:

If you don't appear to have that particular plug-in... then get it. Obviously. And play around with it until your problem is solved.

Boo-yah.
