it seriously took me five years to finally settle on this type of sound. i've done of a lot of playing around; more funky, more progressive, prog trance, etc. but over the last year i've discovered deep is where its at.

Yeah, I feel you here, I've been playing all sorts of different stuff from electro to progressive, but I keep coming back to a deeper sound. It's real satisfying to spin, too, getting into that deep groove...
40 mins in and loving this mix. I'll come back with more thoughts when I'm done. |

| another cool part about deep house, at least from my personal perspective, is that it works great as an opening, middle of the night, or afterhours music. if done right you can rock a dancefloor at any time. |

| While i'll admit right off the bat that i have really moved away from listening to this type of stuff, I will say that i enjoyed listening to it quite a bit. Great stuff to put on while making a meal and having a glass of wine. (this is what i did :p) It really reminded of me of this little lounge i used to go to when i lived in Florida. Nice work, very smooth. |

i guess the opinion is split on Colombian Soul. but personally i really like Funkagenda's vision on this. the keys don't come in until way later in the version and feel a bit more proper than the original. most of it is just really good deep house, and that bassline is ace!
