These are exactly the kinds of things im talking about. I mean When I go out I am the last person to ever wear sneakers or a t-shirt.

Given the chance I do one day I wont be let into a club. So I never even bother and just dress really nice.

I've had a few problems with the door staff too a long time ago. There used to be an over zealous dude at the door that loved to give fashion tips on the way in.

Thanks Blake. Yes the door staff was very easy to work with. On the last event we did at Sound-Bar with BT, we had no known issues and that was a busy night as well.

Overall its hard to alienate people. If 3 thugs walked up 2 people in front of you with gym shoes on, and the door staff denied them cause of the gym shoes, they cannot just let you walk in with your gyms shoes after. It would cause issues.

Sometimes there is a bigger picture. But that is a problem I see happen alot at nightclubs. Just play it safe and you will be fine.

one night there was a guy dressed as a pirate with a bandana and stuff. if they let him in, there's no way they should deny any decent person.

His name's Rick, and he dresses like that to various venues around the city once in a while. He's actually a Johnny Depp from Pirates of the Carribean look a like.

As far as dress code, wearing dress shoes is key. If enough people are interested, maybe we should get a bottle by the booth? Who's in?
