This is really well done. I think you mentioned earlier in the thread that you were a little slow on the transitions being the social butterfly that you are ;); I dunno, I don't usually notice things like that and I didn't at all here. I really like your track selection (I'm just a lil techno/minimal/tech housy ho, lately); great arrangement.
These days, my favorite sets seem to offer up a degree of tension, to make one's nerves bristle and in this mix, Tropical Heights, Charlotte, et company provide that edginess that I appreciate.

Thanks Chrissi! :) Glad you liked. I think only 2-3 of the mixes were actually real rocky, specifically the one out of Agnes, where I looked down to find I had 30 seconds to find a new tune and mix. :nervous:
Rest worked out ok I think, it was great fun.
Sushi, gonna try and record a new promo mix this week. I know I keep saying that but I'm really gonna make an effort, got loads of new music (too much in fact!). Also, going to coachella festival this weekend out in Palm Springs (in the desert about 2 hours out of LA), friends have rented a nice house out there for the weekend so we'll be playing lots and probably recording...might try and up some of that. :) |
