Don't get me wrong...I grew up in that city (as an expat) so I'm unlikely to get offended by someone like yourself bashing the city...
but drugs is strictly a NO-NO in Dubai.
Prostitution and a bad human rights record are problems in that city, but not drugs. |
I'm not bashing the city,, i think the city is beautiful and has amazing architecture .. the only problem i have is their view on drugs.. i mean what is drugs really? Why would god put the plant in the ground? Why would god make it available to us?? Theres a reason for everything... people in that part of the world need to chill and smoke a joint! |

hhahah, ive tried them.. also called argyle .. i think thats how u spell it.. i didn't really like it too much.. gets u really light headed.. .. i went to this place alladdins on hwy 10.. after smoking this thing for like 20 minutes i was liek F this.. and put in a couple grams of the good stuff! |

Yeah, my boss had a similar story travelling London to Thailand. A gram of coke in his back pocket. He found it once he'd landed while in cab to Hotel. Lucky!!!
The brighter side to this Grooverider story, is say he serves like 1-2 years (on good behaviour), gets out, his profile will be through the roof. This is front page news (well tabloid style) in England. I'd go to see Grooverider in Toronto, he'd be like the dj who came back from the dead. lol |
