Hello.
I hope I'm not overstepping my bounds by making this thread as my first post on this forum but I've never needed forums until now. Here's my dilemna. I started listening to trance/electronica about 2.5 years ago, I hated any kind of electronica before that, so I'm really new to this music.
I am trying to find new music to listen to and have run into a lot of problems finding things I like. I have some older stuff (old to me atleast) like Revolutions, Nyana, Politic of Dancing, 76, Awake etc. I also have some newer stuff like In Search of Sunrise 5 and 6, L.E.F, Elements of Life, In Between and such.
The problem is, most of the stuff that I have been buying recently I don't like as much, mainly the albums that are all one DJ. I have found that I like the newer compilations a bit more than the old compilations because I like that the newer stuff gets away from some of that old fashion cliche trance beat.
So my two favorite albums that I've heard are definately In Search of Sunrise 5 (especially disc 1) and Politics of Dacing 2. I also love L.E.F. (and almost all other Corsten) and enjoy almost all of Tiestos older compilations. Could anyone please recommend me some good albums that are of the same taste as these or atleast along the same lines so I can get out of my trance rut?
