If you haven't checked this spot out recently,
you need to immediately! Philgood's Teknik
nights are bringing back what this city's lost
in the last couple of years... MOMENTUM!

Deep blissful grooves of techno & tech house,
great drink specials, and open-minded music enthusiasts.

DJs:
Philgood {Inbeat Records, Noerg - MTL}

Having spent more than half of his life behind
turntables, Philgood has always given priority
to music that takes the listener into new dimensions,
stimulating dance, excitement, and an escape from
the rigors of everyday life. Philgood has by now
caught the ears and attention of electronica scenesters
the world over. Through his residency at such renowned
Montreal clubs and event as Sona, Circus Afterhours,
Stereo Afterhours, Swirl, Arrival, Celebration and via
his performances overseas (France, Switzerland, USA,
Colombia, Hong Kong). Philgood has dropped records
alongside techno luminaries including Laurent Garnier,
Tiesto, Richie Hawtin, DJ Rush, Tim Xavier, Joel Mull,
M.A.N.D.Y., Magda, Sven Vath, Green Velvet, Felix da
Housecat, Timo Maas and John Aquaviva. Philgood has seen
the style creep stealthily into the already-diverse array
of musical styles readily transmitted through his DJ sets.
He achieved the reputation as somebody who is totally
aware of what he is doing, totally dedicated to it.

Ostrich {Diskho, Buy You Sell Me - MTL}

23 year-old Pakistani, born and raised in the United Arab
Emirates. He has always found passion in art, especially
music and films. After exploring his talents as a DJ,
producer, and an aspiring filmmaker, Nadir's sound carries
various funk-flavored elements of techno that is bounded
by deep house, categorizing itself as deep tech-house. His
narrative approach to his DJ sets under the Ostrich moniker,
allows his art to speak through music. Currently based in
Montreal, Canada where he's pursuing a passion for music
and producing films.

DRINK SPECIALS:
2 for 1 on domestic beers (before midnight)
$3 Shooters
$100 bottle service

Philgood played such a mature and quality set last friday at LEAP, he is surely promising and unique! Ostrich's deepness is the perfect compliment for Phil! Respect!

I opened for Philgood, and I heard him play it out propah, I can tell when a sound is mature Pidcock! He plays tracks that are "special" and far from typical, each one has a distinct unique feature to another. And c'mon don't tell me this On and Off stuff, there is obviously a direct relationship with a drug abusers personal trip (on and off) and the sound he or she experiences ;-)

i dont know how ed the people telling me how his set was, but they told me it was

is that better than that on and off stuff? :toothless
