| I had ADSL for about 8 years then with in 3 years had upgrade from 384K to 768K line because I d/l lot music and play games off that line. I would never go back to dial-up and in million years. |

I sell internet for like 15 different providers in the states and ppl call in all the time because they still are on dail up |

| I've had broadband since 1996. I paid my dial up dues though, when I got my first modem it was the fastest you could get and it was 2400 baud. |

in my hometown all you could get was dial up until about 5 years ago.. sometimes it sucks living on a mountain :(

I was on dialup till 2005. Nothing else was available.
On 2mb broadband at the moment, wireless hookup. Still no DSL where I am. |

When I was in highschool we didn't even have a classroom with computers in it.......we actually had a typing class on type writers.....although they were state of the art type writers. |

Same. Now that was the bomb. We became skilled at hiding correction tabs inside the machines so we didn't have to remember to bring them to class. During the practice drills we kept waiting for the teacher to slip up and drop an "a" "s" "s" combo, but she was far too clever for that. :( |
