speaking from my own experiences, - the loneliest times are the greatest times of change...
good for you to reach out for help when you are at your lowest!
I have been there too in the past and still am sometimes...I tend to hide in what I call my 'cave' and may not come out for months or years. I completely understand everything you're saying.
btw-we have actually never met formally but I do know who you are. Funny thing is I have been thinking of you the last 2 weekends up in Muskoka b/c of a white winter parka that I ended up buying at SportCheck, Hillcrest Mall last winter after I saw you trying it on. You looked so cute in it that I decided to get it for myself. THANKS!! ;)

That is true. But I don't think it's the scene. It's you getting older and moving on with your interests. You grow tired of the "scene", begin appreciating other things, and gradually move away from it (but hopefully not from your friends).
That doesn't mean you don't enjoy a good party anymore, just that the "venue" changes. The venue becomes more loung-ey, more entertain-at-home-on-a-patio/backyard kinda thing.
And of course you yourself change: music style, energy level, etc etc etc.
My $0.02... To me clubbing is overrated. But then again, if you told me that 3-4 years ago, I'd laugh in your face. |

This is very true, I've been into EDM for over 9 years now and going clubbing for a solid 7. I see it as i'm getting older i'm slowing down the pace I like my music at when I 16-20 it was all about hard acid techno and jungle, then 21-24 it started to slow down and I started getting into house and techno and minimal. I also prefer small venues like footy and zone vs. places like docks or the Guv, |

Exactly, good point to note I think.
Your interests and values don't stay static your whole life. They shift as you age -- be it a lot, or little.
So even though we may find it over-rated now, doesn't mean it was over-rated in the past. |

I love this tread!! Especially since I have recently been poking my head in TA again and posting little here and there.
Life is life. Life is Odd. Thing change. People change. MUSIC is ALWAYYYYYYYSS THERE tho....and that is why I keep coming back ;)
I am lost too my friend....my life is a never ending battle of the rollercoaster rides....I hate rollercoasters!! But here I am ...still a live and healthy...and so are you!! Keep the faith...and things will work out. And continue to Pray. You can never pray enough.
