Just got home from the city a little while ago. Deadmau5 was amazing, I was so impressed! But he did not wear the mau5 head. :( I was slightly disappointed by that.

you'd have the ultimate rave toy that everyone at the rave wants. people will be trading all their light toys to get it. you'd be the cool kid at the playground.

Expect the scene to change within the next 5 years due to this mau5 guy.

he is giving out 56 tracks(his own of course) for free on his myspace, if you're interested.

Randomly saw this thread....
Saw him in a small venue in Minneapolis this January and he did, indeed, wear the helmet. It was towards the end of his set and, to be honest, was probably the most hilarious thing I have ever seen in my entire life. Yeah it was cheesy as hell, but he only did it for one track mix....and it got the crowd pumped, so whatever.

Personally, I'd take a cheesy helmet gimmick over a cheesy set.

already looked at the titles. I'm not too into deadmau5, but some of his tracks do get my attention. Those tracks he is giving away on myspace are his first productions, even before he go tthe name deadmau5.
