| Well we made it out to this. The first 2 hours were pretty banging. Some minimal and tech house mostly. Towards the end he started playing cheesy electro and vocal house. $25 was way to steep for this. Oh well. |

If you're having that much trouble putting together $25, maybe you should just chill at home and bump some cd's.

| 25 for deep dish is 25 bucks too many. |

Not to be funny here but who exactly would you pay $25 to see?

It was only Sharam...not Ali and Sharam.
I happen to agree that $25 was asking too much. For me and my husband that would have been $50 plus parking. I would rather use that money to go eat at Carrabba's and watch Cloverfield again.
This post was in no way directed at the opening DJ, Paul, whom I love and support. :D |

We paid 15 to see Sasha and Three for a combined 9 hours.
Think who you can see @ WMC for 25 bucks.
It's simple economics though. They had the place filled @ 25... why not. |

I love how some people just follow the masses as it's become "cool" to hate on Sharam for being too commercial. Fact is, he's become much less commercial within the past year and the music he played Friday night in Tampa with the exception of 2 of his remixes was slammin'.
It's people like some in this thread that cause Tampa to not get some of the better acts to come to the area. Lately, we've gotten the likes of G&D, Sasha, Starkillers, Sharam, Glaude and Gervais. For those of you who can't put $25 together for a night out in Tampa, make it a freaking Blockbuster night, stay home and quit ruining the music scene for the rest of us in Tampa that really enjoyed ourselves the other night. THanks |

I'm happy that everyone had a great time. I hope you guys at least showed up early to support the DJ's that opened for Sharam.
I don't follow any masses. I have a mind of my own and ears to go with it. I support artists when I want to hear them spin/perform. Kind of like the rest of you.
Did you come out to support Noel Sanger when he was here last month? He's originally from this area and he always delivers. It's a shame that more people didn't turn out to support him especially since it was FREE.
Why don't you get them to book my husband to spin and all of you pay $25 to come see him and then we'll talk. |

Let me get this strait... I'm ruining the music scene in Tampa by voicing my opinion on a public forum?
Also, I'm causing the better acts to not come to the area?
Do you really think $25 is a fair price?
I'm not following your logic. |

the masses didn't make me hate sharam, him releasing a ty ep trying to join the tech house bandwagon and failing miserably on top of releasing nothing but cheese and playing party all the time at all the gigs made me dislike him. who would i pay 25 for? Three, Pig & dan, Joris Voorn, Radio Slave, Digweed, Fanciulli, Guy Gerber, Paolo Mojo............. |
