I would really make the drive out to Austin right now (given there are seats available) and head to UT, but I bet Austin's traffic is already looking like Houston's traffic.
gonna be glued to the TV for this one. |

i just heard:
43,000 signed up to attend
200 seats were available to the public
100 are only available for Campaign Captains

Prediction:
$100 barrel of oil 2008.... $24 barrel of oil 2013....
Why? Because the production will ramp to meet demand. B/c of the high oil prices today the world is moving to alternative energy and high-efficiency. There will be a glut of oil. They won't be able to give the away. After 2013-2015, as we move toward 2020, baby-boomers are less mobile thus using less fuel. |

My theory is that tonight, Hillary understood she was going to lose the nomination, and she was starting to back off a bit. That last "kumbaya" moment of hers was, I thought, looking forward to needing to be a team player in an Obama administration. Once again, Hillary Clinton reached over, shook Obama's hand, and conceded defeat.
She played for sympathy and emotion for the injuries of troops that she voted to send to Iraq, and it worked. She sounded great. But if you really think it through, she bears responsibility for the war, and I'm sorry, she shouldn't get to "use" it. Her worst comments, IMO, were:
-The Xerox comment
Clinton: "When I said we should put a moratorium on home foreclosures, basically your response was, well, that wouldn't work. And, you know, in the last week, even President Bush has said we have to do something like that.
Clinton: "And there are differences between our records and our accomplishments. I have to confess, I was somewhat amused, the other night, when, on one of the TV shows, one of Senator Obama's supporters couldn't [name a single thing Obama had accomplished.]"
(for some reason the ending was cut off in the transcript, but that's basically what she said.) I was shocked at this cheap shot and could not believe she actually said that. Then, her last comment about John Edwards, word for word...
That's a hoot after watching Hilary "xerox" her own ass. She should have at least referenced Edwards! What a plagiarizer! She got ED on that. She looked like a divder....speaking of which, Let's hold her to the statement about being "Commander in Chief":
"Well, I believe that I am ready and I am prepared and, uh, I will leave that for voters to decide." WTF!! Super-delegates overturning the will of the voters would be hugely divisive! And, I think Clinton ted on her own lap with that ending. BY FAR she killed it.
This debate was by far the best, but one thing is for sure. They should quit touching on the same subject. The questions keep getting repetitive, as if it'd been rehearsed or something. |

it was supposed to be a collaboration between Univision and CNN
but it was funny to see Univision preferring to air their 'Premio lo Nuestro,' crap over the debate. Just goes to show you the current the state of the Hispanic community. To their defense, they did air the debate later on, around midnight, when everyone is already asleep.
about the only reason to watch Univision is to check out the girls they have. I swear, have they ever been hotter? :whip:
ahora le traigo ganas a Satcha Pretto, I don't know, just something about her. |
