Apparently they have been around for about 12 years now. They are from Philadelphia. The drummer lives about 10 seconds away from me and plays DnB and dubstep at the bar next door here. Really cool stuff.

Also, every Summer they hold a festival with a lot of great international talent, including Infected Mushroom and Hallucinogen. As a band they are more of a "jam band", kind of like Phish.

ALKALINE TRIO is gaining in popularity, but not at a quick enough rate for how talented they are. I like their old stuff a lot more than their new, but regardless-
Definitely one of my favorite bands.

Trance Nutter
Serena Ryder
Not unheard of (she's signed to a label and has 2 albums), but not one person I've spoken to has heard of her before.

Weak in the Knees

It Doesn't Matter Anymore

Heart of Gold

Just Another Day

Its definitely worth checking out her other stuff as well, she's got an amazing voice and sings a few different styles of music. She did an album with a hwole bunch of covers of Canadian songs (like Neil Young etc) which is pretty good, thats why theres songs like Heart of Gold and It Doesn't Matter Anymore

Amateur Transplants
A couple of doctors from the UK so some of thier stuff is medicine related, the rest is usually about porn or sex

Some contains swearing, so watch out if other people are listening

Anaesthetists song

Drug Song

Paracetamoxyfrusebendroneomycin

not sure on the exposure of these outside the uk, but

the pigeon detectives (from leeds)

pretty simple rock-pop but works for what it is. Had some mainstream play here, but as I say, I dunno how well known they are outside of us.
