Man, I even feel bad if I spent 7 - 8 dollars per day on lunch at work (yes, I found a job! :)). If I spent $100 - $150 a week on booze... well - I don't know - but chances are, I would be considering myself stupid, since there are so many better ways of handling that amount of money (i.e. saving it). Not that I'm very good at saving (I spend my money foolishly in other ways, like buying unecessary junk :(), but it always seems to be a wiser alternative than drinking it all away... :D
Of course, it also depends on how much salary you make too, and how good is your financial situation, like if you have your own house/apartment already and don't have to save for a downpayment, for your education, etc. ...But in the end, I guess it's a matter of priorities of each individual person. I want to learn to spend my money wisely and in a useful way :) |

wow you are so, so, soooooooooooo NOT at all, in any way possible from Montreal, hehehe :p
good for you though...i could have gone to ibiza aprrox. 5 times in the last 5 years already if it wasn't for my pot habit. works the same way with booze...scary thoughts. |

| Man, save money for what? I make good coin and have no expenses, so at this stage in my life I have no problem with pissing away all my disposable income. I'm sure in a few years I'll get tired of leading this manic lifestyle and calm the down, but for now it's treating me fairly well and giving me many a good story to tell. |

ouch, there's not a single day that I don't spend at least 20$ on food, coffee, etc etc. if not 40$. |

Yep - I've only been there twice, each time for less than 1 day :p (haven't even had time to look around though, which kinda sucks)
And you're right, if I had a choice between going on vacation to Ibiza (or any other nice place that I like) once a year and between smoking weed, I'd choose vacation with all ten fingers... :) A vacation at least gives you a chance to have great unique experiences and nice memories for life, whereas that pot smoke or bunch of drinks will probably be forgotten by the time next week rolls around... ;) |
