I just need a couple good sources to back up my claims in a paper I'm writing. It doesn't have to be scholarly, though it would help.
The paper I'm writing is about morality in the movie The 25th Hour. I'm basically just talking about how each character represents a different side of the moral coin, with the conclusion being that morals are not absolute.
I'm exploring each character's moral compass, and gonna talk about action vs. intent.
So uh, help? I have no idea where to start, and the only kind of articles I keep getting from my school's database are really dry and scientific. Bleh. |

| It is good, but I can't ing stand Rosario Dawson. Horrible actress, except for in 'Bringing out the Dead', when she didn't talk, lol. |

I haven't seen the 25th Hour in years (though oddly Myra and I have talked about it a lot lately), so I don't really know anything that would be remotely relevant.
I checked one of my professors academic "discogs" (he writes a lot on pop culture/movies) and unfortunately though he noted the 25th hour, he hadn't written on it.
When is this due?

Booo...well I don't need the sources to be relevant to the film. I just need some stuff that talks about the nature of right and wrong, etc.
Ah it. I'll just keep Googling, lol.
This paper is going to be the biggest piece of I have ever written, ahahaha. |

The problem is that there's not exactly a small body of work that's been done the issue of morality, so finding something that would actually be relevant to the paper you're trying to right isn't really as easy as just recommending various ethics papers. |

| Try Philosophy and Social Hope by Rorty. He's a non-absolutist and I remember there being at least a couple essays about ethics in there. |

if you need stuff that's relevant to the actual story, you could try citing the book that the movie was based on, or try searching for some interviews with David Benioff (the author and screenwriter).
also, Pilospohy? LOL. :p |
