Have you tried gluing it back on? Same thing happened to my Sony V700's about a year ago, I just used some Gorilla Glue and now they seem more sturdy then when I first got them.

i just got the HD280's.....i like something that fits around your ear...i hear the HD25's SIT on your ear. i have also heard that the HD25's sound amazing.

one thing about the hd280's....the isolation you get is ridiculous. i think out of any headphone, they're the best for that. they are however a little lacking in the bass department and the highs tend to get a little ear piercing at some points. i just really didn't feel like spending 200$ on a pair of headphones...

i'm still getting used to them...they do look/feel extremely solid however.

Get Technics RP-DH1200. After extensive use for 3 years they just started cracking.

I don't understand the fascination with Sony V800s and Pioner HDJ1000s...

Do people not read the horror stories about those cans? I personally don't think the sound quality on those aren't as good.

Go with the Technics, the DH1200s...I am highly satisfied with my recent purchase of said cans. <3 removable cord. They're only $180 USD, whereas a comparable set of Sennheisers is probably more expensive(Though I cannot say for sure, I was able to buy my set for $100 USD :toothless: so I didn't have to really research)

Glad to hear that I bought something that'll last me a few years :D
