Does any1 know what happened to raremusicfinder.com, another quality site for livesets just disappeared.

Maybe i can answer this one, since i know Vector (the dude who runs it) quite well now & i am a regular visitor of the site:
Raremusicfinder has had some troubles with its provider (CWI-Hosting...) The provider said the server collapsed a few times, so they wont have to give RMF a deticated server. Cause if RMF had enough members, it would get a deticated server for the site, but the provider is trying to stop it: everytime there are almost enough members & enough activity, they 'let the server collapse'. It happened two times now.
So now Vector is changing providers & also chaning Forum.
In Vector's own words (an icq msg): well the forum is dead, so we're getting a new forum, but it's the best forum out there, so we'll have file attachments, sub-categories that so many members wanted, polls inside forums, all the goodies right from the beginning, so maybe it's God telling me to switch anyway :-)
If there is more news, i'll let you know..

CWI-Hosting == CI Host under a different name.
I got burnt by CI Host in October/November which is why I switched in December. |

Well F**K me, are u absolutely sure that CI = CWI?!?!?
It was stupid of me NOT to know that CWI was one of the WORST web hosting companies out there, saw all the serious complaints at http://www.webhostingtalk.com AFTER I had problems with them, I should've done my research BEFORE joining CWI, and looks like u had bad experience with CI, and yeah, I do remember u posting last year about "How's CI Hosting blah blah blah, if everyone's ok with it, we are switching to them"... Too bad we never knew that Webhostingtalk had loads of complaint reports about both sites, but I never did relate the 2 sites into the same site...
Ain't this funny: I was thinking which host to go with, CWI or CI, and saw CWI had a bit better deal, never knowing both of them sucked bigtime ROFLMAOOOOOOOOO
Anyway, I'm switching to Venturesonline.com, which host are u with now? Didn't see any info anywhere in the site, sorry if I missed it... |

| Ummm oh yeah, I dunno when RMF will be back, as soon as those a**holes at CWI transfer my domain to Venturesonline, the site will be back (so far CWI has not answered my emails for more than 10 days)... |
