In my opinion, the cause of the fire was condomania. Especially since i have heard that an application to tear down those buildings for a condo was turned down last year due to it being a historical site. Same as what happened in wasaga. I dont think its a stretch to put two and two together here.
Oh btw lot 332, fez batik (the on again, off again homeless shelter), cantina charlies and Embassy are all slated to be torn down for condos very shortly.
As someone i respect told me recently... "you would never see new york city screw over soho or greenwich the way we are destorying queen west and other neighbourhoods." ....
Im tired of watching toronto turn into a vertical suburb. This madness has to stop!! |
