okay i usually shy away from canadian hip hop because every artist from canada seems to try to bite someone else. K-os bites from Q-Tip, Choclair bites from Jay-z, Kardinal used to bite from busta a bit. and other artists in canada are not that great (cept for a few, there are a few canadian hip hop artists i still enjoy). So when i hear of a new canadian artist it usually takes a lot for them to hit my radar. So when i first heard this guy i shyed away. On first listen i though "yeah hes aight" and never thought of listening to more.
However this guy has blown my socks off lately. Now i usually download full hip hop albums figuring they make enough unless its an artist I know doesnt get alot of recognition, so today i had to pick up his album at HMV. and I have to say this guy though he may not be the most talented MC, hes in awesome and is bringing something new to the game, especially the canadian scene. He does all his own productions as well. the artist i speaketh of is Classified. I'm totally feeling this guy right now. His lyrics and his beats, lovin it.
Btw pick up his album its deffinately worth it.

coming from a HUGE qtip fan. trust me he bites qtip quite a bit. rhymne style, and even tries to make his voice sound the same.
some times he tries to add that lil rasta i have a bit of wyclef jean in me sort of strumming my guitar and singing bs. but trust me I can totally see where he bites Qtip. i had this debate witht he wife and went through record collections showing where he bit what.

my roomates a few years back used to love this guy...i guess he's been around for a while....doing this since he's been super young. he's good.

oh ya i heard him years back whgen he dropped "the maritimes" however i was like ok hes okayyyyy but im not gonna follow him. Only now have i been like "whoa was I wrong"
plus u got to remember how much eminem dissappointed us all, I dont think i was ready for a new white rapper.
