Thanks Night Terror. :) My stereo enhances bass alot so I never know for sure if I've added too little or too much bass. Usually I get it right the first time, it seems to kick in the car. :)

Just a radio edit?? Damn where's the full version :p.

Sounds good, dreamy and emotional but just too short ;).
I'll have to agree with the kick, it's too thin but compressor should fix that. Loop at the beginning hurts my ears when I listen this with high volume but build-up is well made.
Really nice floating at the break but it only lasts 28 seconds, now I really determine to dislike radio edits :)
I only missed more assertive kick, otherwise it sounds pretty flawless.

Cheers 4 the feedback Breakaholic. Do you think cutting down hi-pass with the loop thing you mentioned would help? Or how does it sound? I had a slight lowpass filter on the loop channel earlier but I took it off. I'll remake the kick since it seems that it's too thin. :)

Thanks.

I listened with headphones, I think it's simply just too loud but with lower EQ settings it do sound better. Maybe try both, decreasing the volume and cutting hi-pass. But this also might be just system difference, if it sounds good for you don't do anything.
clubzero
Ok cool thanks will try that.

hey again ;)

just listened to your tune, i have to say it's quite a nice one ;)
but like some others have told you, the beat sounds a little weak to me as well... and maybe the production wasn't as good on this one as on your other tunes like Trance Unity (this one had a more 'finished' feel to it) ;)

but if it sounds nice with you in the car, go right ahead, i might try it too ;)

Laterz,

Hi Lightworks. You know you're a good producer so I value your opinions. Know what, I think I might know where the lack of bass comes from. I remember doing a low cut to the file from 30Hz so there's nothing below 30. I should have done the low cut from 20 instead of 30. And yes, the bass as well as the kick do sound a bit quiet. I'll have to work on it.

Cheers 4 the review,

I think the 30 low cut will work fine, you just have to thump up the bass with some EQ's :)
At least that's what I try to do, otherwise the bass could be too deep and take off some valuable sounds from the other synths while compressing (that's what happens to me sometimes).

I mostly EQ the bass at around 90-100 Hz, the beat can be around that spot too. But try to alter it a bit, so that bass & beats won't be 'in each other's way' :) if you know what i mean :)

Take care!
