new djs in town, thursday night, the LOBBY

There are some new djs playing on thursday night at the lobby, and they are actually fresh, creative, and quite good! Not just playing cheesy commercial electro etc, sleepy prog, or going through the minimal numbers, they mix up a little bit of everything and get the floor moving for a change. they play their own prerecorded mashups of minimal/tech and vocals/rock and other interesting things.
I forgot their dj names but they're young kids who moved down here from ny/connecticut with nothing and making something. they're just what this town needs which is a breath of fresh air from the monotony so check them out and tell me what you think. |
