Not feeling a minimal techno or even a partially minimal-y-ish techno night at all...

Joel Mull is a very broad producer and dj. He has had releases on most of the biggest
labels in the world. His style is a cross between banging and minimal techno. I just heard him play in Miami and he ripped it. Its actually quite an honor tp have him play as he has not been here in about 10 years.This party will be insane!!

With DJs Joel Mull, Jamie Kidd vs Terence Kissner, Greg Gow. Sat, Apr 5. Footwork, 425 Adelaide W. $20 before 1am.
Speaking of Kidd, he also gets down in two contexts while opening for one of his "biggest influences in techno",as Swedens fantastically deep and musical Joel Mull who returns to T.O. for the first time in seven years. Kidd spins an early-evening tag-team set with Terence Kissner and later performs a live PA of originals alongside Frederik Hatsav. As Metalogic, Kidd and Hatsav create edgy, driving and highly rhythmic techno. Expect them to come extra-banging as they highlight tracks from Metalogic's new Boxed & Warped EP, out this month on Brooklyn's Hidden Agenda label.
