That draft pick doesn't compensate them for the 5 years that dibly was on the payroll. lol.
And odds are they'll use it to draft another gorilla that can barely skate, stick handle, or shoot.

during hockey nights at my house, one of the most common phrases you would hear:

Belak only made $625,000. It wasn't like he was tying up a lot of salary like gill was @ $2,075,000.
Overall, the leafs saved a few bucks by getting rid of Gill who's making $2.1M next year and Kilger who's at $700,000 next year. |
