I'm the happiest damn NHL fan today. I got my Peter Forsberg back and I got Adam Foote back plus I got Ruslan Salei. It is like the good old days when we were winning Cups. Such a great day for me PLUS I'm going to see my Avs for the first time live in Denver. I'm such a crazy fan I'm sure I'll have a tear in my eye...
Other interesting trades:
Pittsburgh got Marian Hossa
Washington got Critobal Huet AND Sergei Federov
Dallas got Brad Richards
*gotta get home and catch up on the rest of the trades for the past 48hrs but I'm happy as can be :D |

The fact that the Isles got something in return for Chris Simon is just hysterical :stongue:
As for the Pens, Marian Hossa?!? :eyes: :eyes: :eyes: It's definitely worth for them to go for broke with a probable rental. |

Busy time for us at the office so no time for TA today BUT I had to write about this "glorious" day. Few can really comprehend how much of a hockey fan I am especially a Colorado Avalanche fan. Not saying we are going to win a Cup but it's something good for a great organization and I sincerely don't think Peter would comeback if he didn't feel close to 100% plus he has to retire an Avs player. Gonna buy a new jersey now :) |

When I found out yesterday I jumped out of my chair and did a mini flip out THEN I ran down the hall and had to tell a fellow Avs fan. I told people my head was going to spin off because I was so damn happy. Not professional but I'm not crazy or anything right ;) today a guy at work keeping track of TSN all day and kept messing with my head about a possible Rob Blake trade. I don't know if I can handle all of that though might be too much. |

| Not really sure how I feel about Pittsburgh's trade. We gave up a ton of young tallent.....but if Hossa and Crosby build chemistry fast that is gonna be one sick ass line......maybe one of the best. I hope it works out for them. One the other hand I'm really happy to see Forsberg come back to the Avs......he was always one of my favorite players. Was hooked on him ever since that amazing shoot-out goal he made for Sweden. |
