Hi guys i want a soft to cut big audio files (mainly radio or live sets) into individual tracks, right now i am using Movie maker but it's really crap cause its timing dosn't match the other softs timing like WMP (for example a track that lasts two hour will be displayed as lasting 2 hours and half in movie maker and then all the cutting job will be wrong and useless) So can you make suggestions, also can cue files be used for that purpose ?
Martian Eclipse
I use for that -Sonic Foundry Acid.

you need a file splitter. google that and check out which ones suit you best.

a cue files useful to fast forward to cue points in one file while playing or splitting up a track into smaller track when burning. i'm not sure if a file splitter can use it to split a file at those points.

you can just use the .cue file and your own ear to do that :)

When I am real lazy I just split every track 5 minutes each and don't care when the track starts and mixes into the next track.
