Correction, 2 hours of sleep FTL.
Lake played good, fun stuff. Lots of his own productions, which are all tops. Tyas did an awesome job opening things up, as did Danny. Good seeing all the familiar faces.

Tyas is great.. wish you guys could have done maybe a 30min b2b set. Would have enjoyed each others styles better. |

Awesome finally meeting you Mel!! (and being sober enough to remember it) :D Too bad you guys had to leave so early. I was looking around for you after a bit and didn't see you. Those pesky jobs we have.
What an awesome night! All my favorite kinds a house music :) I loved the Ryan Dany tag team they had going on. And Chris was amazing. My only complaint was that they closed so early :( I've been in Cielo when there were less people, the bar was already closed so they weren't making any money, and they stayed open until after 5. Can't figure it out. I had been looking forward to Ryan and Dany going on again.
I'm on my way out the door to LI, but bunches of pics to follow :) |

Had a blast last night playing with Dany...it was alot of fun going back and forth, and getting to play a few tracks I have been dying to hear on Cielo's system. Dany's new track sounded very tasty, looking forward to hearing more tracks from him soon. For my first time spinning at Cielo, I can only say that I hope to be back in that booth again sometime...the sound, monitors, lighting was all perfect.
Chris came on with this massive track (forgot to ask him the name) that basically set the tone for the energy he kept for the next 2 hrs. Every track was excellent...no filler bull. He was a really down to Earth guy, and a very tired one at that. He said he'd been on a US tour for the last 3 wks, and was just exhausted by the time he arrived in NYC. His wife and mother-in-law were there too with him, which was very cool...both extremely friendly. Dany and I would love to have him back hopefully this Summer...we will work on that :D |
