Why must all muslims get mixed in with the handful of fanatics, who are completely misrepresenting what Islam is all about? Islam is one of the world's most tolerant and peaceful religions.

i really do hope you were joking with that comment.. if you anything about politics you'd know the us would never touch iran... BUT who says that they cant surround them? best way to take a country down is war. When war isn't an option you try and cause instability..what better way to create instability then to go to war with the countries surrounding Iran. lol if they could have attacked Iran they would have done it by now.

If there were soo many terrible Muslims, a good portion who don't even come from the middle east, we would be ed, dead. We live in the most culturally diversified place on the planet, lots of technology, access and availability to tear up.
Extremists are ghey no matter what race, gender or religion. I'm Roman Catholic, I'm pretty sure we put a nice dent in the world population by the 10's of millions. |

FYI the biggest names in electronic music (armin van buuren, tiesto, sasha, digweed, steve lawler, paul van dyk, marco V, Dave Seaman, above and beyond, gabriel and dresden...the list goes on)have had gigs in the middle east more than twice already if not more. Other than the regular events we have in clubs, we also have festivals in the pyramids (egypt) and deserts(jordan)
15,000 people showed up to Tiesto's gig last year in lebanon (small country with a small population) and no matter how politicaly unstable the country is, the biggest djs keep coming back because "the middle eastern" crowd is always ready to party it up.
However, Syria is a tyranny and it's all about politics not religion. these events are associated with drug use, and allowing them to take place would look like they're encouraging that = making the govt look bad. the threats were probably planned intentionally.
