Anyone know any local/Canadian Deep/Ambient/Atmospheric DnB djs/artists/shows/events? something like the local version of Omni Trio, LTJ Bukem, Nookie?

I've searched around but didn't find anything.

Appreciated :)

I second this request.

Sorry man, you're pretty much out of luck on that one. Some local DJs here may throw in some of that style in their sets, but I don't know of anybody who's style is entirely that type of DNB. The DNB scene here is not large enough for that.

If you ask here: http://www.torontojungle.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=3 you might have more luck, but I doubt it.

I was at Circa on Friday and one of the rooms played Drum & Bass

He is. And he's been at it for so long. The only artists I've come across in the same subgenre all have been from the Good Lookin' camp, so it seems if you want something like LTJ, there's only one thing to do: go see LTJ.

If you want to hear a good set Nicky Blackmarket is perfoming an "exclusive old school set" at the opera house on march 15.

Agreed. I have so many sets from him from 1992/1993/1994. The guy has been completely on top of his game for 15 years? wow.
