Well, here is my last set,
may anyone be interested or not.
As you guys are not giving any feedback,
I think it is better to quit
or to go somewhere else...
Here, I won't learn much...
and I have to admit,
that I is quite disapointing.
01 Pig & Dan - On To The Beat [Cocoon Recordings]
02 Pig & Dan - Four Leaf Clover (Original Mix)
03 Trentemoller - Always Something Better (Trentemoller Mix)
04 Elektrochemie - Pleasure Seeker (Original Mix)
05 Gregor Tresher - A Thousand Nights Part 1 (Original Mix)
06 Gregor Tresher - Full Range Madness (Remastered Version)
07 Marc Romboy, Tommie Sun - Body Jack (DJ Delicious Remix)
08 Richard Bartz - Atomic Dog [Kurbel Records]

i am not looking for that kind of feedback.
feedback like "you are great" does not mean anything to me
or lack of feedback meaning "you are an idiot" neither...
i am looking for feedback like
"you made a fault here..., and there..., and there..."
"you need to improve... which you can see at..."
and so on...
the above mentioned feedback without any quality is the one
i am getting here too much, everyone telling me, "well done",
"great", etc... and i know, it was not.
now i get the same quality of feedback here (nothing)...
well, that is not what i came for...
i am here to improve my skills, to learn from others...
without feedback i can go back to the decks and practise
for myself as i did before...
but anyway...
thanx for your help |

Had a quick listen just now, the tracks, them i like. But the thing about sets like this is that i've heard most of these tracks through & through, and you'd have to do some serious mixing, with the EFX and scratching to impress me with those tracks.. Catch my drift?
Mixing overall was decent, but it's still the lack of variety that bothers me the most, im not saying you have to throw some breaks in there (although thats a nice idea, imo) but maybe look up some more rare releases and other artists than Pig & Tresher.
BTW in the end of this set you sure show'd that flange effects sounds horrible when overdone
You just keep it up, this is definitely not a bad attempt at mixing, what gear did you use? Reviewing other guys mixes and so on helps your future efforts a lot.
My 2 cents. |

as soon as i know mixing well, i will start to perform serious art.
but i was always told "first lean the basic, than try to reach the stars"...
at the end i wanted to throw in a reverb...
but i grabbed the flanger and didn't notice,
until it sounded that horrible...
i am mixing with a m-audio xponent...
not very easy to use for a beginner,
but the best effordable digital equipment right now
(xone 3d ist a little over my budget) |
