...ps i saw a bit of satoshi that night (while armin PLayed anthem after sugary sweet ness anthem).....in the side prog whore room...@ the time i didnt quite get it, packed full of old khuntz looking all glamour and ...but looking back now...yeah it was a great man at his peak

glamour and ? ha ha ha... I have different memories of that room/night. It was tiny, bloody hot, lots of sweaty bodies jammed into a room that was way too small, roof was almost touching my head and a bean bag burst so there was little bits of white beans everywhere. But my god, the music = hours + hours of prog bliss!! Fabulous night, I have very fond memories of it!

meh i had a listen, was a little sloppy and just poor song choice in the arrangement. personaly i like utah saints and most of the songs so it didnt really bother me.
Philby
after that set by j00f we were standing off the side chatting to him and stipsy asked him if he checked out the progressive room, i said i did and i thought it was crap, so small, hardly any people, why bother flying these international djs out to play in somewhere like that. and some guy called mark james was standing right next to me...

It's not about the size of the room Philby, it's about the quality of the music - and the best music was definitely in the prog room that night ;) I remember it being pretty full in there actually - and i've got pretty similar memories to Sara about that room and the distinct lack of glamour - it was pretty hot and messy, i think there was even black plastic on the floor so we didn't ruin the carpet lol.
