but because i was "referred" (lol, everyone gets the blue ticket)...i got the vegas "vacation". i guess since i didn't win any of the other prizes on the card, i got the "weekend getaway".
i'll scan those in soon and let you all read 'em. they seem kinda shady, and a long, lengthy process (i.e you have to make reservations via POST MAIL :wtf: ) . but whatever. i won't be taking much leave in the next 4 months anyway because of work, so i'll get to save up for sep/oct time frame. *maybe*

welp, its been about a month now. I just got a letter in the mail from Spirit Incentives (The company that is sponsoring (or whatever) the 5 day / 4 night vacation that I won).
So it tells me to pick out three days to go on this vacation to one of their locals that I can pick from. I picked Maui.
I'm not allowed to go 7 days before or after any major holiday (july 4, labor day, columbus day, thanksgiving, new years, memorial day). So there are black out days. and i have to leave on a monday or tuesday.
first date must be 60 days out from today (minimum). and it must be at least 30 days between each selection (i have three timeframes to pick).
So i picked July 14th-July 18th; Sep 15th-Sep19; and Oct 21-25th.
what kinda sucked is that the selections had to be in chronological order. so i didn't want to pick like oct/dec/feb and then find out "sorry we're already booked for those" and get ed because i have to travel by Feb 28th 2009 (one year from the original scam date). So i'd rather go in the off season than not go at all. but the october date would be my best choice because its right near my birthday (so i'd get back from maui and go to new orleans) and have like 10 days off of work for the whole thing.
Anyway, should be cool. I still haven't gotten the $40 in gas rebates they promised. but i did get the $40 gift card from visa. I still have yet to send in the Vegas Vacation portion too...cause i'm still waiting to see if i can get someone to come with. (its the same set up, you mail in the , and then they give you dates to pick from, then you mail it back, then they tell you which one you go on). so its really hard to plan long-term for any of this stuff at all :(
