I hate how some people judge Americans by how they view The United States as a whole. I def agree that there are the stereotypical Americans (Bush loving, Nascar fan, redneck, Iraq war loving, etc people), but alot of Americans dont even like the United States. We hate our government and we know that it sucks. Its not our faults we were born here. I dont threaten to move to Canada, even though i find it to be almost perfect. But I would def much rather be living there or Europe than the USA atm.

It's unfortunate that one regime and an aging conservative populace ruins it for the rest of us.

#75 Threatening to Move to Canada
February 24, 2008 by clander

Though they will never actually move to Canada, the act of declaring that they are willing to undertake the journey is very symbolic in white culture. It shows that their dedication to their lifestyle and beliefs are so strong, that they would consider packing up their entire lives and moving to a country that is only slightly similar to the one they live in now.

Note: Europeans are unable to threaten to move anywhere.

whats the diferance from the old days when people had enogugh of europe and moved to north america, its seems to be an an going trend when you concider the the effort being put into moving to the moon once we destory this planet.

either way canada is a beautiful place to live if you can bare the cold weather

I was traveling with a swedish friend of mine in a foreign ing country, and he told me how him and his other buddies saw group of older white american tourists and the americans were like

"dont you reckon it is so good to be american in another country, because ya'll dont have to learn another language cause most people speak english?."

and then my friend went on for like a 5 hour rant about how americans are ignorant. Its a matter of convenience if you ask me.
Fledz
Well there is some truth to that actually, but it applies to many countries. If you know English, travelling around EU especially is much easier.
