| i just realized how well sussudio fits into the plot. The song is about some fantasy girl, sussudio, which one has a crush on. |

Phil collins works best in within the confines of the group then a solo artist
and i stress the word artist.. |
Im going to have to disagree here, Face Value was hands down the greatest album he has ever worked on... INCLUDING the Gensis days.....
zomg that in drum fill in "In The Air Tonight" *duh duh duh duh duh duh duh duh da da da IIIIIIIIII CAN FEEEEEELL IT CALLLLING IN THE AIR TONIGHTTTTTT OOOOOOOOOOO LORD...."
they really should have put that song in rock band.... i would have put it right up there with run to the hills by iron maiden |

I've been a big Genesis fan ever since the release of their 1980 album, Duke. Before that I really didn't understand any of their work. It was too artsy, too intellectual. It was on Duke where Phil Collins' presence became more apparent. He puts aside the CD and takes out another one. I think "Invisible Touch" is the group's undisputed masterpiece. It's an epic meditation on intangibility, at the same time it deepens and enriches the meaning of the preceding three albums.
Christie, take off the robe. :) |

| Take the lyrics to Land of Confusion. In this song, Phil Collins addresses the problems of abusive political authority. In Too Deep is the most moving pop song of the 1980s, about monogamy and commitment. The song is extremely uplifting. Their lyrics are as positive and affirmative as anything I've heard in rock. |

| After reading the book, I am sort of sad that the scene with what he does with the sewer rat he caught didn't make it into the movie... |
