commercials are so ing annoying. it kills the experience of watching anything..especially a movie. like i need 10 piss breaks in the span of 2 hours
I like the sytem they have in europe a lot better; one or two longer-lasting commercials per movie and you get less interruptions. |

A Swedish movie producer actually filed a lawsuit against a channel for interrupting his movie with a commercial :p Apparently, you need a special license to do that.. didn't know about it before - but it sounds like a good thing :) |

Hmm. Not looking at every banner ad on every website is stealing its content, as is using a text-based browser or browsing with images off.
Not focusing entirely on a commercial means you are stealing the station's programming. (NO DAYDREAM FOR YOU!)
"Channel Surfing" is ILLEGAL!
Pop-up blockers are ILLEGAL!
I guess each station needs to come up with an acceptable commercial-to-sitcom ratio like the old FTP upload/download ratio setup. (e.g. - you watch 30 seconds of commercial and it gives you 2 minutes of programming... else your TV shuts off.) |
