how do you know when you've picked or have
the best dj name to best fit you???
just curious incase i ever become a dj

hey, that is the same question i had about 3 months ago! :tongue2
well i bought my first mixer and the two cdjs at that time, and still couldn't come up with any dj name yet. So I friend of mine suggested that I should spin for my friends, and let them come up with some names, or for the least ask them what names would fit you well... (thx Mecca82!)
i guess the name would depend with what type of songs you play (i.e. trance, techno, progressive, house, electronica, etc). but i think once you have a 'tiesto' status, you could just use your own name as the DJ name :eyespop: :eyespop: :eyespop: |

| you could always use a nick name::Armando Soria=Mando Soria (works for me) I was stuck on the name game foe a while but everything felt too cheesy...now to come up with an alias for the producer.... |

I actually like your last name... GUZIK... That name sounds cool. Just use that! GUZIK. It sounds original and fresh.
My name was my nickname in high school. I tried changing it so many times cause I didn't like it, but my new names never stuck. People are used to calling me Woody. I started working on some projects and I don't want to use WOODY, so I came up with RADIO 88 and I AM RADIO. The reason is because my iPod had an FM Transmitter. Since I don't like any of the music being played on the radio, my iPod was always set to broadcast to 88.7 or 88.3. The only two empty frequencies in OC. Therefore creating my own mini station that broadcasts to my car... RADIO 88 (Pronounced in Spanish)... raw...di..o... o...chen...ta.. e... o... sho

haha thanks...ill see if it sticks but first i have to
get started with my djing...
i got my mixer, my computer softare is ready i just need the rca cables and some decent speakers...
