It seems like Velfarre has closed down? And Deseo doesn't have any decent DJ's playing during my dates... any other recommendations if anyone knows of locations would be awesome!
and thanks elFreak... I'm mainly here just to ask for suggestions/clubs and cool places to visit though |

How long are you here for?
There aren't any big names or acts around in March to my knowledge, but clubs like AgeHa, and Unit always have some sort of EDM night on, so you're bound to catch something. Check out AgeHa's website schedule. Tiesto is playing there April 12th, but I'm guessing you won't be here then.
Roppongi is where all the foreginers, so it might be wise to avoid this place.
What area are you staying in, and are you only going to be in Tokyo?
In terms of money, bring ALOT. Food is cheap, and you can go to an izakaya or whatever for relatively cheap, but touring around can add up very quicly, and unless you know what you're doing, you can end up running up huge bills. Credit card is a safe bet, and use it sparingly. |

The prices for food in Tokyo is comparable to NYC. It's not nearly as bad as London, but it's still expensive.
Avoid cabs when you can. They're ridiculously expensive.
I STRONGLY suggest you go to Hakone. Now is the time of year where you can get a great view of Mt. Fuji.
As for Tokyo neighborhoods:
Harajuku is worth visiting on the weekends, so you can see the cosplay girls dress up.
Roppongi is where the bars are.
If you're into beer, the Yebisu beer garden is worth a visit.
Ginza, Shinjuku, Shibuya, Asakusa are wards that are worth a visit.
This is all off the top of my head. I'll post more later.
I miss Tokyo :( |

Ah, yes, ageHa:

That place looks too cool not to check out.
I'll be there in late may / early june for ~3 weeks with some friends who moved from Japan to Canada when they were 10. Should be interesting :)
As for $$;
If you're broke, sleep in a net cafe. $10 for the night and you get your own room with a couch and a computer :p
Can also get a weekly aparto for ~$40/night if you know how...
final note:
anime is meant for children |

I'm actually staying in Roppongi Hills Drive! haha
great suggestions here, I'm really glad I'm getting some places to shoot for.
As far as a place to stay, my friend has family and we're going to be in their a home for 1.5 weeks which is awesome! March 14-23
Any other suggestions would be much appreciated!

My buddy went a month ago, for a week.
He brought 3 grand, (CND Dollars), as spending money (he'd paid the hotel/flight/car rental prior.
He came back in debt, had to resort to his credit cards on the last 2 days. He did like, EVERYTHING you could though, touristy wise.
But ya, bring money, I'm pretty sure Tokyo is the most expensive city on earth, with maybe London being a close second or a tie.
Also, I'm not sure if this is still the case, but I believe that they dont name streets there, but intersections instead. |

Moscow is the most expensive city in the world, followed by London, then Seoul, then Tokyo
